Illustration Friday: Total

I found that getting a sense of action using a style that tends to be static is difficult. I'm not sure I'm all that happy with this one. (The hieroglyphs say "Total air." The cartouche at the bottom says "Heather" and is based on a cartouche I had done when I was in Egypt.)

I have to say that I keep wondering what you will do with the Egptians each week. This is awesome once again.

I understand what you mean about working with such static figures. You handled it very well. I know this may go against the Egyptian style but I would be tempted to draw his hair downwards under the force of gravity to enhance the motion. Great work. This week I'm not planning to do an illo since I just can't squeeze in the time.
