Illustration Friday: Idle

I'm now going to be idle and leave this one as a black and white. But I like it this way.

I really like your take on idle..(those hands!) and the book reader. Very well done!

Sometimes black and white just works! It does here! Nice work.

This is a very strong black and white piece. Great use of space and composition. She looks so into it! Great job!!

Love how even the dragon on the cover of the book is idle! Great composition and use of B&W.

I like it this way as well, just black and white. This would make a lovely bookplate. I love the girl, her pose, so relaxed and lost is a good book. Really lovely, Heather!

Are you kidding? This is perfect! You may not feel like you're doing much work with black and white, but it sure works for you.

Dear Heather,

I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with your art. You have such a great range. I envy you. And now you are taking classes! I am thrilled and wish you the very best time of it.

I also wanted to thank you for the thoughtful message you left for me earlier this summer. Your kind words brought me solace and strength. I'm sorry it's taken me a while to visit, but I certainly did not forget. Thank you for your friendship.
