Illustration Friday: Poof

POOF!
Molly wondered if the magic math wand had been a wise wish.

I realised I was habitually using the portrait format, so I tried to push myself out into a full spread landscape format.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with the portrait format! I love the angle of the illustration...very cool!

Hey Heather,
Great Poof illustration. You're just so talented. Lovely piece.

nice viewpoint :) i agree it is good to change format or viewpoint every now and then, to stretch your capabilities and challenge yourself. Lovely technique too.

This is one of the toughest views to do. Great job!

Heather, Thanks for stopping by my place and for leaving such a constructive comment. This is exactly the type of feedback I would like to get. My local SCBWI only has writers and it is difficult to get really specific feedback. I agree with your comments, and I'm working on a different point of view for the second layout. Thanks again, and you are always welcome on my blog! :)

I could have used a wand like that myself! I like the landscape format and the perspective is amazing, really well done. It's lovely, Heather!
