Illustration Friday: Theatre

I've been struggling with some artist's block, so I returned to traditional media for this. Brush and ink colored with watercolor pencils. You just can't get that wet in wet action from a computer. I really liked the way it looked in black and white too with just the ink and wash.

Very fun to see both of the color schemes. I love them both but really dig the black and white!

I love this b&w! What about making that boa pink in the b&w version? A little pizazz maybe? I think it's a fabulous, loose piece!

What fun, always nice to return to familiar mediums!

You're right - sometimes digital just doesn't quite capture the rawness.

Definitely the colour version - essentially theatrical! Love the purple in the shadows
